Online support and services tailored to you

Neuro-affirming Occupational Therapy for autistic, ADHD and otherwise neurodivergent adults and older adolescents.

Support with everyday functioning, independence, education, employment and mental health.

Specialist coaching focused on the challenges of working life.

Available privately or, where eligible, through Access to Work.

Empower Neurodiversity is led by Catherine Hurley, Specialist Occupational Therapist (BSc Hons, MRCOT), with more than 25 years professional experience.

My approach is neuro-affirming, strengths-based and individualised.

I take time to understand the individual rather than applying a standard programme - considering your strengths, needs, environment and the demands of everyday life.

I now offer support for older adolescents aged 16-18 who are preparing for adulthood, education, university, employment, or greater independence.

Services for individuals under 18 require parental consent and appropriate involvement from a parent or legal guardian. Confidentiality and autonomy will be discussed sensitively and in an age-appropriate way with both the young person and their parent/carer.

Transition-focused neurodiversity support:

  • transition to university/work
  • executive functioning
  • emotional regulation
  • self-advocacy
  • independence
  • sensory regulation
  • reasonable adjustments
  • DSA and education support
  • mental health and neurodevelopmental pathways

As an Occupational Therapist specialising in Neurodiversity…

I provide online tailored support for individuals over 16 with diverse neurological profiles, including autism, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental differences. I also support people experiencing mental health difficulties.

You do not need a formal diagnosis to work with me. As an Occupational therapist I am interested in working with your challenges, identifying your strengths and supporting your ability to engage in activities of daily living and explore what is meaningful to you as an individual.

I focus on helping individuals enhance their daily living skills, manage anxiety, navigate social relationships, workplace or educational environments and manage associated sensory challenges, building strategies for greater independence. I will support you to identify your strengths and collaborate with you to achieve your goals.

Through a compassionate, client-centred approach, we can work together to create personalised interventions that empower you to live well and thrive in your home, daily life, educational institution or your work environment.

I am based online so you can access support from the comfort of your own home.

Let's work together to unlock your full potential!
